These socks are too tight at the ankles and calves.

My legs are skinny but they are so tight they leave lines/ridges from ankles to calves. And let my calf swell almost to my knee. They are big too! I ordered a couple packs of these Enerware socks about two years ago and they have been excellent. You are not that beautiful to me. And like I said, my legs are skinny.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • No instructions

Design flaws galore

These socks are so weird. I wear regular men's socks to work and they fit my foot, but these heels go to mid-calf. The lace and upper are an odd open weave. I've only had them for a few hours and they're already piling up. They keep my feet warm, but I'm afraid they just come off with a wash. I definitely feel like I threw my money away.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Zero

Didn't last too long

I really like these socks, they fit well and are very comfortable. Good weight, not too heavy, perfect for summer or just anytime. They have not held up well however, I have had them for 7 months now and they all have holes in the heels. The colors seem to change, only to share. I still think they would cost less and last longer if they were all the same color. Overall not bad, was hoping for a longer lifespan.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Doubtful

Size 10 1/2, they choke my ankles.

I can only wear them when walking or working outdoors. If I put them on and relax on the couch or work at my desk, they will burn my blood so badly that the imprint on my 10 1/2 feet will be very painful. After a while I just have to take them off or my leg starts to hurt. They may have shrunk a little after a few months of brief use, but they are too tight. I have thin ankles and I'm 6ft 2in tall.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons

Fit good, comfortable, less bulky than expected

My nephew has sensory issues and it's hard to find socks he likes and wears. He loves them because they are snug but not too tight (for reference he wears a men's size 8.5) and they are not as thick as some similar styles from other brands. He often rolls off them once or twice because he's still growing and doesn't have the longest legs, but even then they're not a problem. He wears his socks to death and so far they've held up as well as any he's worn.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Some bugs

Ideal for light/medium weight coats.

We have tried different socks, now we are looking for what they appear to be. These are the perfect warm wool socks in light to medium weight. They go great with "waterproof" or insulated boots for everyday winter use. Typical outdoor/winter wool socks are too thick/warm to be worn with waterproof membrane boots or insulated boots unless it is very cold. These socks seem too big for my height 11.5ft and are definitely over calf socks. They didn't shrink after the first wash. Too bad they didn't

Pros
  • Excellent general characteristics
Cons
  • Everything OK

Very comfortable but short lived

First of all, these are some of the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. They are soft, keep your feet warm and, at least for me, even get a little wet without getting too cold. They have worked great on hikes and I've even started using them daily. A few months after purchase, they began to wear out, and then holes appeared in the heel of the sock. This is common for me, but I usually have to wear socks for at least a year before they wear out. I bought them in February and at the moment I

Great price (unlike bombs)

I bought these after reading tips on Reddit for reducing foot sweat while wearing boots - specifically the Redwing weekend chukka - as they've been known to due their way lead to sweaty feet skin is manufactured and manufactured. Therefore, thread by thread, light wool socks are recommended by all RH-WC owners. I thought why not if it helps a lot, if not I'll try something else. Suffice it to say that these socks are perfect for this problem and are just great, comfortable socks. I have large…
