Review on 🧥 Merrell Women's Ellenwood Insulated XS Apparel by Katie Johnson

I bought this coat because I think Merrell makes really good hi-tech style coats in general. I like it. It's simple and functional. The waistband is a bit high as you can see in the photo. I bought the X-Small and the tip doesn't really do anything and is uncomfortable but I can see that it adds more definition to the larger sizes. I have very broad shoulders and was afraid it would be uncomfortable under my arms but this is great (even with a long light down jacket underneath. I don't really like how most synthetic winter coats look so this was the solution for me this coat with long bottom I'm 5"4 and maybe 115 so I wouldn't say the X-Small runs small at all. Good buy at a discount. I took off a star because I have some of the lighter Merrell Coats I'm rather flattered when I wear it to shops, but it's probably unfair given that it's still waterproof and windproof, the annoying stiff collar, button closure and lack of gray lining (would have preferred plain black) would have made it better (along with the lower waist) but you end up wanting a thick collar when it's really cold outside.
