🧥 Merrell Women's Ellenwood Insulated XS Apparel Review

I love this jacket. The neckline is very pretty and well sewn. The material inside the pocket feels a bit strange, it's not clear and I got my nails caught on it a few times. The lower part of the zipper is difficult to close, but there are no particular problems with it. Cut and quality make up for these minor issues.

I love this coat. I don't wear it to clear snow, but as a work coat. It will be warm enough (Boston). Advantages: long, covers the back; Bottom zip to open for riding; close to the body. Neutral: The sleeves are long. I am big. They're a bit long, but just right when I ride or raise my arms. Cons: The zipper is uncomfortable, I wish there were more teeth. The hood is good but the hood and collar are a bit stiff.

I'm obsessed with this coat. It is absolutely waterproof. It's not particularly thick, but it's well insulated. I layered it when the temperature was in the single digits Fahrenheit and it was warm enough, and I wore it open with the buttons on the sleeves when the weather was in the 50's and not too warm. An incredibly versatile three season coat and so great you don't have to worry about getting stuck in the rain or mud.

I really like this coat. I was a bit skeptical about the size, but it fits perfectly. I usually wear size 2 and ordered S; Underneath I can wear a regular sweater or a shirt and jacket for work. Looks professional, nothing fancy but overall very nice clean style. I bought this coat because I think Merrell makes really good hi-tech style coats in general. I like it. It's simple and functional. The waistband is a bit high as you can see in the photo. I've waited a full year to post my review of this coat just to see how it would perform in the different capacities and seasons I wanted to use.
