I bought some dimmable candelabra bulbs to replace several different lightbulbs around the house. I thought the lamp in my dining room was E12 like everyone else. Instead, it was smaller, so I looked at several different adapters and decided to give it a try. I got it in the mail, screwed the LED bulb into the adapter and then screwed everything into the E11 base in the bulb and everything worked. I am very happy with the adapter. I was able to downsize from a 100w incandescent to a 5w led.
