Torn threads on the oil pan? Get it

About 10 years ago an overzealous dealership mechanic stripped my mother's oil pan threads and the dealership wouldn't admit it. I bought this as a temporary fix until I had the funds to change the oil pan (it's an Acura, no fun changing it). 10 years after rotating 3 of these candles I still haven't replaced the oil pan. The rubber is excellent quality, all molded in one piece and all metal components are grade 8. You can't see it in the photos but there is a plate under the wing nut that it snaps on just tight enough that it won't return. I wouldn't say if your themes got deleted just switch to this one, but 10 years later and no issues I wouldn't have too much of a problem with it.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say
