Review on ⚙️ Makita 9032 - 8 Inch Variable 4.4 Amp by Loren Jacobson

I bought this item to clean welds in hard to reach places. It works very well and I use it a lot. This doesn't work very well for smoothing large areas; Get a sander with a wider belt if you need to do this. It goes through the straps quickly too, so buy an extra box or two (they're cheap and the rough ones I use cut really fast). I expect straps to last a lot longer if you're primarily working with wood or similar materials. This is a very specialized tool. If you need something to fill that role, then this is a solid choice. Most people don't. I also have a wider version of this tool (1 3/8 inch) and am very happy with it as well. I wish it came with a hard case, but there isn't one. Also, mine tends to drop the strap if you use it with the handle at a 90 degree angle to the strap (the handle angle is fully adjustable). This hasn't given me much trouble, but keep this in mind if this device is too long to fit in your workspace. So far no other complaints or problems.
