Review on Leukotape Sports Tape Yards Pack by Floe Rankin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great stuff - just know your body

I got mine today, put a band-aid on the most blistered areas of my foot and rode several miles to test it. It has held up great. Other cloth medical tapes I tried were torn and falling off my feet when I got home. The adhesive used on this tape is strong and the tape itself is strong. Do not worry. I've noticed other buyers have had skin reactions to this tape. Personally, I've worn mine for several hours and my skin looks and feels completely normal. But this tape says on the box and also in the details of this Revain listing that it contains latex. Maybe that's why some people have problems. The box also says it contains rosin - aka rosin. Rosin can also cause skin irritation after prolonged contact - for example, working with it all day, every day, for weeks or months. I don't know enough about zinc oxide glue to say whether or not it can affect your skin. Basically, this product is probably not a good idea if you have a latex allergy. If you have very sensitive or "tricky" skin, test this tape first by applying a small strip to your arm or leg, leave it on for at least a few hours, remove and check your skin. If you're fine, I bet you can use this tape however you want. I warn you that this tape will leave a sticky residue. But it doesn't bother me that much. All the tapes I've tried fall into 2 categories: 1. It doesn't leave any residue, but it also peels off too easily, so it's useless to me2. Holds up quite well, but leaves marks. So I doubt there are many adhesives that can get the job done without leaving a residue. Spring. Better than giving up my hobbies because of blisters that I can't otherwise avoid. Powerful Glue. Continuous. Comfortable to wear. Accessible. Leukotape help me.
