Old damaged inventory from this seller.

This tape is usually great but this company's rolls suck! The two rolls I received appear to be old and/or heat damaged. The rolls arrived the wrong shape (not round) and the adhesive stuck to both sides of the tape. It's hard to peel off and the back is sticky and collects anything making a mess!

Perfect for my needs

Perfect for my needs. I bandage my legs for long-distance runs. This (and that same white tape you put on hot spots or other sensitive spots) saved my feet from not having a single blister after running a really tough 100K in Idaho a few months ago. I've done water crossings and the tape didn't come off after that so this is a winner for me. I've also seen people tape other hot spots on their bodies (for ultramarathons) such as rubbing down hydration packs. I don't have the problem, but it's…

An all-round hiking/climbing MUST HAVE!

Great for hiking! The roll is big and lasts a long time! We don't take the whole roll on hikes/climbs, we wrap it around a straw (cut into a short piece) and take it with us instead. This material is perfect for many things on the trail! It copes with blisters, hot spots, cuts and also helps repair devices. It's so versatile, lightweight and easy to use! It's REALLY sticky so it can hurt to peel it off your skin, but it stays in place with sweat and water so it's not a bad thing! I keep a small

After trying another brand I switched to Leukotape

After months of using Leukotape for arch support I did a thorough research on other brands and tried the popular cheaper Hampton Adam's Rigid Strapping Tape but I found the adhesive wasn't holding very well and it seems to irritate my skin even though I don't have sensitive skin. While both have roughly no horizontal stretch, the Hampton has more diagonal stretch, which actually means more "give" in most situations, making it less stiff but better able to wrap and absorb around curves and…

Best Blister Protection for Hikers

If you are a hiker or hiker this tape can be used to prevent/treat blisters. I work in a marching brigade, so all summer I spend nine days in a row in the forest. Needless to say, blisters are a fact of life! Unlike moleskin or tape, this tape stays in place even if you sweat or get your feet wet crossing a river. I usually leave it on for three days without putting on a new strip, but I wear it much longer and it doesn't fall off. I usually cover my problem areas before going out and this…

I love Leukotape and am very happy that the price has come down.

I call this brace tucked away! I love Leuco Tape and am so glad the price has come down from the outrageous $68 per roll my PT charged me ten years ago when I first started using it. I have a perineal tendon that won't stay where it should be. I had surgery and needed to use an ankle brace or brace and I HATE them. That's why I make myself a corset out of leukotape. My PT taught me how to use it and I've been using it for years. You can usually find videos on Youtube that show you how to do it.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • A few little things

Go on serious hikes and runs, don't accept substitutions.

This thing is magic. I've ridden trail marathons (terribly unprepared) and with the toe pads and heel fully wrapped and with some lube between the toes I haven't had a single blister. I've also walked 10 miles in a few days of hiking without putting on new tape and it stayed in place! (Even in humid Hawaii!) The only downside is that if you get a blister under the tape, it sticks so well you'll rip your skin off with it. The glue might dissolve, but the glue stayed on my camp sandals and it…

Great stuff - just know your body

I got mine today, put a band-aid on the most blistered areas of my foot and rode several miles to test it. It has held up great. Other cloth medical tapes I tried were torn and falling off my feet when I got home. The adhesive used on this tape is strong and the tape itself is strong. Do not worry. I've noticed other buyers have had skin reactions to this tape. Personally, I've worn mine for several hours and my skin looks and feels completely normal. But this tape says on the box and also in…
