My heart cat didn't like resting food so this was a great find. I plugged it in all the time. On the smallest hole I had to cover half of the hole with duct tape to prevent too many pellets from falling off. I attached the feeder to the side of the tank, but to do this I had to change the position of the tank cap to allow the feed to fall into the tank. Advantages: 1. Easy to use2. You can feed up to 3 times a day3. Possibility of working from the battery or from a network3. Works as intended. Cons: 1. Uneven amount of food thrown. In my modification 2 drops from 3 to 10 pellets. To feed smaller fish, the feeder opening needs to be changed3. The gas cap must be moved or modified to seat against the tank wall and feed when the gas cap is closed. The intake opening is at the end of the intake drum. If the hole was closer to the motor where the feeder is attached to the wall it would be better.
