First, let me give you my little warning. The attached instructions are wrong. Some drawings show holes for side rails. They are not in the other drawings. This might make you think that you should work on the other side of the board. So keep that in mind, otherwise the instructions might make you roll over and get mad when you have to take things apart and put them back together. Many years ago I delivered and assembled furniture for a furniture store, so I know how to assemble furniture. I have to say that given the inconsistencies in the instructions and the way the mattress support boards are installed, this is not the most intuitive part to build and can be frustrating. Otherwise we like it very much. When we put my daughter to bed, she likes to snuggle up a little to help her sleep. This bed is strong enough for me to lie next to (I'm 185 pounds male). Of course, an adult doesn't have legroom, so you're in a fetal position, but it will support more weight than I expected. The pink color is a pleasant shade and the color is even and uniform. The bed is also light (if you need to move it). Of course, the only tools you need to assemble it are the included Allen key and a blade to open the box. We all sleep better when our baby is outside. out of our bed and into her own. No more punches in the ribs in the middle of the night. lol! I recommend this bed, just be patient while assembling and allow for some effort to install the mattress support boards. Once in place and you've fully screwed the bed sides together, they stay in place even if you move the bed.
