These artificial succulents are a cute option to brighten up your space, but I made a terrible mistake unwrapping them at work in my interior office. When the package was opened, it filled the room with what I and others identified as a strong and fetid marijuana-like odor. Not something I personally like or want to associate with my professional identity, and certainly not something your employer will be happy about. I immediately went to vigorously wash the plants in the latrine with soap and water, but to no avail. Luckily one of my co-workers had lavender essential oil and let me use it on the succulents and it helped decently but unfortunately it caused some of the "fuzzy" texture to rub off. Again, they're still cute, just don't open them in a work setting, but make sure to wash them and infuse them with a different scent if you really want to be close to them to enjoy the product.
