So I refuse to pay hundreds of dollars for a pair of headphones. I have very high quality in-ear headphones that are inexpensive. But they are not suitable for training ;-) That's why I bought these DTTOs after reading some reviews. I was amazed by the sound! Obviously, technology has come a very long way since I last played around with headphones, which I generally dislike. I fully expected to return them, but I was impressed with the sound. For me they are very balanced. The bass is there but not overwhelming. Clear, not hard. Plus, they're comfortable all day long. They weigh next to nothing and I can sit and get up and move around at the computer for hours with them in my ears. Of course, this is not possible with wired in-ear headphones. I guess not that good isn't really DTTO's fault. They certainly offered a good range of pads to try. So maybe they deserve 5 stars. But nothing I did would make them stay in my ears as I walked the block, let alone run. I must have an unusual ear canal as this has always been my problem with headphones. I've considered returning them as they don't work as intended for me. However, I decided to keep them as they are a great alternative for listening to music at home without disturbing my wife. I haven't had them long enough to comment on the battery life and I'm not a gamer so I don't use this mode.
