I used this to replace the rubber button on a 2011 Explorer key fob. That's all, apart from the circuit board, there's no electronics on it, which I didn't expect. With our old one, the contact of the release button on the inside of the rubber pad had broken off. I only replaced part of the rubber button. and retained the original Ford body and manual key. However, I could have used the whole body, but I preferred to keep the original Ford plastic body as it was much stronger and had the Ford badging. but it will still work fine. Works great, I recommend.
