Review on πŸ‘ Peachtree Audio M24 Bamboo-Powered Speakers (Pair) by Julie Lee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Incredibly good active desktop speakers

Where to start. I replaced the Creative T4 setup with a Peachtree M24 and a BIC F12 subwoofer. It really is like comparing apples to oranges and my expectations for this setup were extremely high after hearing a few Presonus Eris 3.5 which I thought were a good value at $99.99. provide relationship. I can tell you that they sound great right out of the box, but I can tell you that after some time of use they will open up even more. The picture is just amazing. I hear the position of each instrument and voice in the audio track. This probably gives you an indication that I mainly use it for music. If I didn't mean it before, I run it from my computer via the optical input. There's plenty of volume when you need it, but they sound phenomenal even at low volumes. I use the subwoofer in the BIC F12 and it works flawlessly, spinning the subwoofer right out of the box at 60Hz. Once the speakers are running I expect the subwoofer to cut out at just over 55Hz. It's just weird listening to Norah Jones do these things when I hear her breathing into the mic. You can close your eyes and swear she's right in front of you. I'm not telling you this competes with the $50,000 stereo setup I have at home, but I will tell you that I've never heard a desktop setup of this size (4" woofer ) comes close to this. no hum or hiss from the speakers. I have them on insulating stands. I'm not too keen on products, but they're just insanely good. I said it's not the cheapest pair you can buy so I gave the price a 4. I would give everyone else more than 5 if I could. If you're looking for near-field speakers, I couldn't find anything I liked better. I've tried Kanto YU4, Presonus and Edifiers and I think they really killed everything for near field. they acquire.
