Ordered three. All headlights work. I wanted to be able to connect something else over it, and I can. I even tried connecting 3 different 3-prong grounding plugs (laptop and 2 different microwave ovens) across it; it was tight. I have to push hard to connect something to the cube and really pull to disconnect something. I should have paid more attention. Directly below the four sockets in my 1970s apartment are substations. The surge protector sticks out about 3/4" below the front panel when connected to the bottom. These thermal blocks do not allow me to connect a surge protector to the bottom one. I may not be able to use 1-2 of these for their intended purpose. Anyway, I've been thinking about buying one for my son at school.
