The printer is HUGE I think that's because it can also scan legal size paper, I have an extra combo tray and they're really easy to put together. I use one tray for letter-size paper and the other for legal-size paper. Once you set it up in the application on your computer and tell the printer which tray holds which paper size, it will automatically select the paper size based on the paper size. Document your seal (e.g. legal or alphabetical). The printer is a lot quieter than I expected, my previous laser printer woke up the whole house while it was warming up and grabbing paper from the tray. While not this one, it makes noises, but my newborn daughter doesn't wake up to its little noises. Double-sided printing is definitely a lot faster than I'm used to, so that's a plus. Definitely worth every penny in my opinion.
