I bought it in April this year. In August, one of the loops holding the excess tape in place broke. Before that I loved this band. It was comfortable and seemed like a solid purchase. I wore my Fitbit non-stop and often forgot I wasn't even wearing it until I realized I had run out of battery. The loops appear to be thinner than the strap, which I don't think would make much of a difference. one just cracked and broke. Not even 4 months have passed. Little did I know that a loop would make the tape itself much less strong and less secure. Now I regularly wake up and find my tracker in my bed. This makes tracking my sleep (very important to me) difficult and sometimes impossible. I like the strap's simple design and initial feel, but I won't be buying it again. Replacing the straps isn't a big deal, and I suppose I'll have to or want to do that, as I've done with previous trackers. However, I've never broken one so quickly. These things aren't expensive, but if they don't last 6 months, that's not normal. For me, a very small (and seemingly unimportant) piece isn't working, rendering everything useless.
