I love this product and it holds used diapers well without much odour. Our little one is only a month old now so I'm not sure how he'll handle really smelly solids diapers. But for now it's doing its job properly. It's small. It is certainly not enough to do even a small load of the washing machine. However, the larger one would take up more space and be more difficult to lug to the laundry. So all in all it was probably the best option. Although honestly. it's a bucket. With lid. I don't see anything unusual or special about it that would make it better than any other bucket with a lid. I suppose you could buy a bucket from Home Depot for a few bucks and do the same.
