These are actually the same as regular washcloths, but they're easier to hold (and keep your hands grease-free). I like using them as they are not that heavy in the hand. I dedicated one to bathroom cleaning (I get bad soap/rust stains) and it worked fine except when it ran onto a sharp edge that cut it on an edge. Despite this, it remained intact and I continue to use it, although only a few plastic threads stuck out. I also bought a few packets of regular cleaners, but I limit their use to those "sharp" areas so I don't cut my ScotchBrites.
