I'm a big fan of other Pinaud products like aftershave and gel. This cream has a pleasant smell, but does not smell like a barbershop, like after shaving, but has a very slight smell, almost no creamy smell. Also, this cream doesn't lather well, in fact I didn't notice any lather. In general, it is very similar to lotion. Perhaps shaving soap is your best bet if you're looking for a shaving cream that lathers well and has the signature pinot scent. On the plus side, it leaves your face soft and smooth. .
