DO NOT USE A BRUSH, it should be on your face and there is no lather. It has good smoothness that protects your face well when shaving. I use this cream on days when I don't have time to lather the cup with a DE razor. I personally like the smell. Viscosity is excellent. I also use an aftershave balm. Works perfectly. And can't beat the price. A bath takes a long time. I bought a bathtub last year. Just ordered another one. Worth the price.

Item was not packaged properly and the lid in the box was partially open. My hand fell on my kitchen table and then rolled onto the floor making a huge mess! I lost more than half of my product and then had to spend about an hour removing a huge amount of shaving cream. I would appreciate a replacement item as it was caused by improper packaging. Cleaning was a huge problem and my kitchen still smells like shaving cream.

I'm a big fan of other Pinaud products like aftershave and gel. This cream has a pleasant smell, but does not smell like a barbershop, like after shaving, but has a very slight smell, almost no creamy smell. Also, this cream doesn't lather well, in fact I didn't notice any lather. In general, it is very similar to lotion.
