I had these old crooked ugly broken cabinets lol I was going to buy a whole new set but I heard good things about painting old cabinets so I jumped at the chance . You must remember that you must be patient and take your time, such as B. removing doors, handles and hinges and then repairing any imperfections with a wood spatula. They then sand each piece, I used a portable electric sander as well as a hand sander for each area I wanted a little more delicate, then wipe it all down with Windex to remove dust particles. After that, start drawing with Nuvo. I used the rollers I got at the Dollar Tree (sponge rollers that come in a little dollar tray which are amazing) and painted all the doors outside in good weather and let them dry (I applied 2 coats). I ended up buying new hinges and door handles from Revain which made the cabinets even better. I have included photos to prove how amazing the whole project was. The old texture is still visible and shines through completely, so don't worry about it being painted over, it really was an amazing transformation! Total time took 8 to 10 hours over a couple of days. Then, once again, take the time to evenly install all the new hinges and evenly reinstall the doors, it really makes a difference. I still can't believe they look like brand new, newly installed cabinets! Ps: I only had to use one glass in my project, even with 2 layers
