Love these chairs. They are very sturdy for their size. Extremely lightweight carrying two was less weight than one of our older camp chairs. Possibly light enough for backpacking. Setting up was quick the finger tab at the top made it easy to pull the seat back onto the frame. Once I figured out how to pack them quickly into the bag it liked them even more. They preformed better then expected. Only draw backs to the chairs would be: a heavy person will sink into soft ground; a tall person this might find it hard to get out of the chair due to the low profile of the seat; not tall enough to sit a folding camp table to have a meal.
