The instructions are a joke.

Looked nice and easy but the instructions were a nightmare. They didn't have enough detail to do a decent job and were a lot smaller than they should have been. I followed the directions as best I could and to finish this I had to ask my mother-in-law, who regularly makes baskets, for help. Very disappointed with this kit.

Absolute beginners need more help

For a beginner this was a good starter project. The color doesn't match the picture in the listing, it's a little misleading. Overall, I'm happy with the result, even if it's fuzzy and shaky. The instruction was complicated and not very clear for a person with no experience. I watched a few YouTube videos that helped. Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Questionable purchase for seniors

This requires the spokes to be 4 inches shorter. Also, as always, skip the soaking for at least 20 minutes. Just dip the reeds to keep them wet. 5 minutes will give you raw sticks. 20 is probably mush. I would add a 15th needle instead of dividing a corner by 2. 1/4 does not hold up well in weaving. I would also advise doing a…

Pros
  • Excellent construction

  • Crumpled packaging
