The mirror has good functions for dimming or brightening the LED lighting. I would buy something higher. If you're sitting on a chair in front of your vanity, the stand-mounted mirror will be a few inches shorter, you'll have to crouch lower to see your full face, or raise the mirror to get a comfortable height in front of the mirrors. The photo shows that I have a thick layer of foam under the stand. Still a great mirror, but I'd go a few inches taller and go for something that's at least 26-27 inches tall. This is only 18 inches tall with the stand. The stand is also not strong enough to hold the mirror in a stable position. It's quite heavy and I have to use tape to attach the mirror to the back of the table to keep it from tipping over.
