I was looking for an inexpensive camera for the beach. After reading all the reviews I decided to give it a try as I fully understood that there were also negative reviews. We took him on vacation over Christmas. I have underwater photos from the pool and snorkeling. Everything turned out great. Used a lot on the beach. I rinsed the camera very well with fresh water upon our return - as instructed. Also on the ski slope. So far - everything I expected from a camera of this price.
