I didn't know what to expect from it because I just wiped it down with a damp cloth which didn't last long. that it wasn't. There is a slight initial odor but it goes away very quickly. I'm extremely sensitive to toxic fumes from certain foods (and all perfumes, air fresheners, etc.) so if that doesn't bother me, it shouldn't bother anyone else. Anyway, I rolled the windows down a bit for the night just to let out gases I couldn't detect. Brings blackness into everything. It's a matte finish so it doesn't add any artificial shine. It also seems anti-static because it's been 3 weeks and I don't see the need to wash the dust. I'm very happy with how it's been so far. I think I used 4 wipes to wipe the entire inside of the dashboard and it was a bit dusty so less wipes are needed for later uses so this container will last forever.
