Lamp looks good but has 2 flaws: #1. The lampshade is VERY wobbly. It will always be wrong. I don't know why they are selling this lamp with a lampshade that obviously doesn't fit. #2. The pull chain takes a good pull to turn it on and off. It wouldn't be too bad but it's for my 4 year old's room. Sometimes she has small problems with turning on and off. All in all this is a nice lamp. The recommendation is to use a 60 watt light bulb. I installed a 40 watt "cool white" LED bulb and it's really bright. If you're using it as a bedside lamp for extra light, use a dimmer bulb. If you want to light up a room, you can use a 60-watt "cool white" or "daylight" bulb (I bought a gray tint, FYI).
