Review on 🔧 BOSCH BT300: Aluminum Heavy Duty Elevator Quick Clamp Tripod - 45 Inch by Carmen Thomas

I have been using a Bosch BT160 tripod for a few years. The price difference between the two is around $100, with the BT160 being smaller. I wanted to upgrade to something with instep adjustment in something other than the legs. Decided to try this one after reading the reviews. The package arrived today and when I went to pick up the box I was very surprised. It was very heavy compared to my BT160. My first thoughts were, if it's that hard, then it needs to be made harder. I was right, the thing is solid! The lifting handle works very smoothly once you remember to loosen the tension knob. I wish the red grips were aluminum instead of plastic. And what would be nice is a spirit level. All the equipment I use is self-leveling, but I prefer to level the tripod before mounting the rotating laser on it. Anyway, I can't wait to get out this week and start getting grades. Very stable due to its weight.
