I had such a wonderful experience with the 1 3/4" double pad (same brand) that was on my half of our queen bed that I ordered it for my husband to use she can enjoy comfort too (he used to have an egg crate lid on his side next to mine. I knew others found the overall size a bit small, but I didn't think it would make much of a difference. Finally, the price was really reasonable. I... have had the topper for almost a year now and am ready to turn it on its side and cut off the excess to make it big enough for the width of the bed, the problem is that it gathers on the edge on its side and up leaves my side. He's about 6ft 185lbs so that's not his height. If there wasn't a gap around the edge I don't think it would be a problem. There's a really nice bag with Rei The latch that covers the foam, but it moves and pulls the foam out of alignment. So the bed never looks well made because of the lumps on the side and the extra edge that is almost 2 inches from the edge on either side when the cover is in place. Aside from the daily frustration of making a bed. and rebuilding everything regularly is convenient. But when I wake up at night, I feel the comb and realize how unnecessary and annoying it is! My final experiment is removing the pretty lid from the topper. Maybe that's what keeps him from moving and grouping.
