My media system has been developed over the years in a two storey 25 year old house. My family TV room is on the first floor and my router and computers are on the second floor. To connect two areas I tried WI-FI, WI-FI extenders and home wiring extensions, but I consistently got 1/4 speed from my AT&T router, even for my new 4k OLED TV. Then I bought this 100 foot weatherproof Ethernet cable and spent about an hour running it around the outside of my two story house. I was amazed that the speed is now exactly the same as it was on my computer which is 3ft from the router. At 100 feet, I don't lose the advertised speed that AT&T pays for. This finally completes my total upgraded single cable home media system! Now you must find a new challenge!
