They are VERY BRITTLE! No external processing quality, but electronics. There is no insulation whatsoever between the ear pads and the circuit boards to prevent moisture from entering the electronics. Any sweat, rain, humidity etc. will eventually (6 months in my experience with 2 pairs) cause a short when you plug them in to charge. Lazy development and testing of Panasonic products. Perhaps a simple silicone pad or vapor barrier on the ear cups would greatly improve the quality of the product. Either way, they just don't hold up to everyday use, especially if you wear them for even the lightest outdoor activities.
