Review on Frigidaire Electric Oven Bake Element by Dean Locke

I ordered this item after ours blew and started sparking. A very common occurrence according to Google. I wasn't sure how to compare part models so I ordered this based on the fact that it looks like a faulty part which is currently in our oven. As soon as it arrived we compared it to the old part and it turned out to be identical so my husband and I watched a short YouTube video and got to work. We didn't turn off the oven but took great care not to let the wires fall behind the oven plate. The only limitation mentioned in the title was the silver vertical pieces at the end of the element that stick up. In our old part they lay flat. I'm not sure if they needed to be bent prior to installation, but it quickly became apparent that they wouldn't fit through the slots in the back of the stove without being bent. Luckily our little tweak didn't cause any problems and the newly installed item works great.
