You can spend a ridiculous sum on insulating pads. I don't know why people do that. I just bought some Dynaudio Stand 20 speakers and wanted to put something under the spikes that wouldn't damage the wooden floors. The only thing that bothered me was the size of the hole. Judging by the photo, it was a bit big. Don't worry, it's not. It's a little bigger than a hole. It fits perfectly with Dynaudio spikes. I put 3M adhesive felt pads underneath and they fit perfectly. Don't spend a fortune on overpriced insulating mats. They do their job, look pretty decent, and save you $$$.
