Review on Minwax 308240000 Wood Finishing Cloths in Dark Mahogany - 8 Piece Pack by Curtis Nice

This is one of the worst products I have ever used! A video of it shows a woman using it to paint furniture. She took the napkin and ran it over the wood and it slid so smoothly, almost effortlessly. I thought it would be that easy. NOT CORRECT! When I opened the package (it was fully sealed). I made the mistake of not testing it on scrap wood first. And when I started applying it, it was a semi-dry, gooey mush. I had to press hard to cover it and the fabric stalled and dragged against the wood. There were bald patches and when I tried to go back and cover them up the fabric stuck and the patch rolled off at times. And everywhere I kept it and colored it. There are dark spots where my fingers were. And I even used brand new powder free latex gloves to keep them clean and not get my hands dirty. The stain lay very unevenly and it is assumed that it is maple. This is supposed to be yellowish golden brown, but this has turned orange. It doesn't look natural at all. Like any really good wood stain. I have used paint many times and have always had good results. What pissed me off is that this is a Minwax product. And I have always had positive impressions of this brand. I believed again. And this time it ruined my project. I had both time and money in this project. And now it looks like shit. I will never buy this product again. And Jay is no longer allowed to use Minwax products.
