I bought this to fit the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 44mm. This group is made entirely of metal, painted black. It's much more comfortable than Samsung's silicone rubber strap. The bonds seem very strong. I've only had it for a week, but the lacquer seems to be very resistant to abrasion. The only downside so far is that the stems that the 20mm pins go through are a bit longer. They fit snugly between the lugs of the watch case. A reduction from half a millimeter to one millimeter would make assembly much easier.
