I used the cloth bags that come with my expensive shoes but you have to open the bags to see what's inside. I bought size 2 in these bags and they are perfect. They are really strong and of good quality. There is no chemical smell. One pocket fits comfortably on both sandals/shoes. I had to put some of my boots on the side but that's not a problem. Shoes with thicker heels work if you put the toe of one shoe down and the heel of the other down. It fits snugly but holds her. I use the paper that came with my boots to separate the shoes in the bag so the leather doesn't rub against the buckles etc. I even tucked my ankle-length, low-heeled leather boots into the pockets. I'm going to ask my mom to flatten all the shoeboxes for recycling. That should keep her busy while I admire my closet.
