Review on πŸ‘” Marquis French Spread Collar Solid: Exquisite Classic Appeal for a Polished Look by Joe Ashan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Neat shirt. thin cloth. If at all, only conditionally crease-resistant. But I think it's ok for the price.

OK. Fits well and what I expected. It's not a "good" shirt by any means, but it's also relatively cheap, and for twenty bucks I think that's all you get. On the other hand, I'm a stocky person. Chest 5ft 9in, 48in, slightly paunchy but mostly barrel chested. I should go a size down but my neck is 18.5 and even if I get a 17.5 or XL in a regular cut it hangs around my belt like a tent. This form fitting cut basically fits like I expect a "regular" cut to fit and doesn't stretch. On the other hand, the fabric is extremely thin. If I were shooting a sexy 1980's music video, I'd probably love to put a model in it and make her squirm while it rains (because for some reason it always rains on sexy models in music videos (free slow motion bonus. ) For a middle-aged hair bag like mine, sheer isn't particularly sexy. It's basically coarse. Like me. Also, the fit isn't perfect. I'm slim, more angular than broad-shouldered, it will drape better on you, but not on I. may be. Definitely not crumpled. Again just like me. I will keep it. I bought this because I was in dire need of a white shirt and here it is. It fits under the waistcoat in my three piece suit so it will work until I get a better shirt. But don't expect much for your money.
