I was disappointed that this is not a true 1.5" strap as advertised. It measures 1 and 3/8. I am using this in conjunction with a stencil that requires accurate measurements. This will be covered and the seam allowance is 1/8 inch on both sides. It may not matter much once the project is complete and hopefully the hardware will fit just like a real 1.5" strap and not slip off. It feels a bit thicker than the more expensive strap so the quality is actually good and very comparable. This is a size that is inaccurate. I don't know if I got a bad reel - I couldn't figure out how to contact the seller.
