I have a much more expensive Brookstone pillow, a myPillow pillow and another memory foam pillow. None of them helped me sleep through the night that much. 6ft 2in and sleepers on my side so I often woke up with a numb arm or a sore neck. I haven't had this experience since I bought this pillow last spring. You can customize the pillow by removing part of the padding. I left mine as sent. It feels like a really hard pillow, but it softens after resting on it for a few minutes. This pillow is always with me. It smelled like rubber initially, so I put it in the dryer for a few cycles with dryer sheets. The smell was gone after a week. I've also washed and had no problems. The bamboo cover is beautiful and can be removed separately for washing. It really is the best pillow I've ever had.
