Bought the gray ones and wore them all day around the house and yard (straight out of the box). The next day I put them on to hike a forest trail, cross a few creeks, and traverse muddy patches. The next day I put them on while walking my dogs in the rain. I love them so much I just ordered a pair in pink! The sizing is a bit odd - very wide and roomy for the toes (which I like) but they are easy to adjust so they are rock solid even when trekking over rocks and roots. Another plus for me is that they are so stable and conform to your feet that they don't even need velcro (which can get uncomfortable in wet and sandy conditions). I recently bought a much more expensive pair of closed toe sandals but prefer them for the nature walks I usually take. I usually feel like I need socks with others, but these are wonderful barefoot! I love her; I can't wait to get the cute pink ones I just ordered!
