We have been remodeling our kitchen with 4 old style pots. We replaced them with these and added 2 more over the new peninsula we built. Replacing existing lamps was very easy and installing new ones was just as easy. Most of the time was spent searching for the exact location to install the new lamps. One caveat: any time you run a wire into a metal case, you need some sort of grommet to protect the wire. This was also mentioned in the instructions. It would be nice if there was a jack.
