Worked well for 10 months

Worked really well for 10 months. I checked my sealed LED acid batteries, I have 4 6v deep cycle batteries connected to 1 24v battery. I have 2 in reserve which will be charged in case of failure. These batteries were added to my system at the same time as the controller. I randomly tested the system with my voltmeter over 10 months. I previously had 4 acid low cycle 6 volt LEDs. They were also in good condition but didn't work on my system. About 2 months ago I noticed that the consumption of my panels on the charge controller has halved. I checked the battery performance and it produced half of the input. Two batteries showed a charge of only 3 volts. I immediately removed the two and replaced the fully charged Backup Battery 2. I then put the less charged 3 volt batteries in the smaller system. For the next 2 months I checked the system 3-4 times a day and constantly watched the Zintroller destroy batteries out of 400.00. When I gave up, the controller registered my 24 volt battery pack as 12 volts. A knowledgeable friend who recommended this controller told me I have bad batteries. I knew that wasn't true because the two I replaced are now back to full capacity. I disassembled the 24v battery and added all the batteries in series/parallel to a smaller 12v system that I use as a backup. All four batteries are fully charged. I want to learn a technique. all this, except for a significant current drop from the input of a component to the output of that component. Common sense says there is a fault with this component. Not the previous component or the one after this component. By the way: my cheap matanence charge controller was 29.99, the cheap 100 amp mppt was out of order. So getting what I pay for is not the case in this situation. shit is shit

Pros
