New to Me Electronics

I've never had a mouse without an on/off button. It works when I'm next to the computer or next to my hand or whatever. But sometimes it doesn't work at all even though the light is on. I have to unplug and plug the USB receiver back in to keep it running every time. Not happy with that.

Pros

nano receiver stays in PC's USB port or conveniently tucks away inside wireless mouse when not in use (Note: the receiver is housed inside the mouse at the factory and must be removed during setup. Do not confuse USB nano receivers)
