Good Glasses: Blue Light Blocking Glasses

This is my first experience with e-readers. I'm in my 40's and starting to notice blurry vision while reading. I bought some ready made readers from a local store (1.00X) and they seemed to work fine. 1.00X sharpened the blurred edges of the text, just like in high resolution. However, I wanted to try something with a lower magnification, but my local shop didn't have that option. I also wanted something that cuts out blue light, but I didn't need colored lenses. I found these lifeArt glasses with less than 1.00x magnification. I bought .75X. I am really impressed. They are lighter and better looking than those bought at a local store. The lenses are very clear with no optical distortion and the blue light filtering works. They come with this little test kit. They bring blue light to the test area and it reacts by leaving a color change. Then you shine blue light through the lens on the test area and there doesn't seem to be enough blue light to produce a reaction. Look at the picture to demonstrate this. I'm curious if this will really help me surfing the computer late at night since I've read that blue light can disrupt sleep. The kit includes a case, rag, tool and test kit. The glasses are a bit more expensive than the locally bought ones, but they're lighter, better looking, have sharper lenses, and seem to filter out blue light. They are also offered in magnifications below 1.00. I'm happy with them. I'll see how they hold up and maybe get another pair for the office.
