My whole family refuses to put the remote controls back in the bedside table I bought specifically for this purpose. You know, so you can always find it next time you sit down. In that regard, I've bought several of these remotes and each of them works great. The battery compartment is a bit flimsy and might break if you drop it, but I just sealed it with black tape. I know this because it's happened to two of the four or five remotes I own. Again, I don't need 4 remotes, I just need my family to put them away when they stop using them. However, since that will never happen, we were very happy to know that these replacement remotes are always available and always affordable.
