I buy these regularly and use them in my DualClean & FlossAction rotation. I find they last longer than FlossAction; In fact, I haven't used them for a few months after discovering them. I get 3-4 weeks off this, but that's brushing 2 or 3 times a day for 3-4 minutes each. They have slightly firmer bristles than others and the new brush head sometimes causes some bleeding gums for the first few days if I brush too long or too hard, so it's probably best to loosen them up a bit first. I doubt a carbon brush can whiten your teeth any better than a regular one, and how long such a "tincture" lasts with regular brushing, but whatever; I like the *idea* of it, as well as the black color and the added hardness (George Carlin's word). However, DualClean is still my favorite as it has more opacity and greatly increases the lather of the toothpaste.
