Very nice and easy to install. They are very similar to the photos posted by other reviewers. Very bright when the light hits it. I'm sure they will make me much more visible at night. Lime green goes very well with kawi green. I didn't bother to remove the factory rim tape. Too much hassle and I figured if it was supposed to overlap it should stick perfectly to the factory tape. I rubbed alcohol on it until the paper towel was clean. If you are not a professional sticker maker, don't worry, there is a little margin for error. When applying them, I applied them in the direction of tire rotation. So that the overlap is the tail end of the tape and the edge doesn't blow as much from the wind. I left a few inches of backing on the first piece to allow the first piece to overlap the last piece when I came back (see picture). It's probably not necessary, but I figured 70mph wind + spin speed would be the biggest threat to the tape. The time will show. But at $30 a piece, who cares if I have to change it every few years?
