I've always wanted to try eyelash extensions because my lashes are straight and *never* curl even with an eyelash curler, but I don't have the time or money for a salon. I was very skeptical about these at home eyelash extension kits based on some reviews I read about other brands until I came across the Lashview kit. I chose Lashview for a number of reasons: - They had significantly fewer reviews than other brands on Revain, but they were all rave reviews and no customer claims for bribes to remove their negative reviews. - All necessary tools and applicators are included compared to other brands that only include solutions + silicone eye patches + eyelash tool - professional packaging and materials. You would see all content in every beauty shop. - Individually wrapped solutions (10 of each!) I've read online that many have found a lack of strength in the solution / found it stopped working on the second use with other brands. which I believe was due to the product losing its integrity after being exposed to air. Separate packages fix this problem. - A well known British brand that makes professional quality products compared to all other dubious (and clearly Chinese) brands available at Revain. Thoughts on opening and using the product: - Very clear and detailed instructions compared to other brands. (have seen so many complaints about missing parts and how they were clearly translated/illegible into English) - every item in the box was made in the UK and USA (not really trying to lose an eye, sorry) - even the small ones plastic applicators! - Includes these cute and comfy little rings to hold the product while you apply it which I wasn't expecting. It will make you feel like a pro! - After reading so many reviews on different brands of eyelash kits, all mentioned glues that came in those kits were bad and wrong glue was used regularly. I literally spent 3 HOURS trying to glue silicone eye patches with Ardell Eyelash Glue to no avail! I finally broke down in frustration and used the included glue and it's AMAZING. After that, I was able to complete both eyes in less than an hour including the machining time. I wish I had trusted Lashview's adhesive from the start as I deeply regret having to repeatedly wipe/remove the adhesive every time the pads have fallen off. My eyelids are sore, sore and angry and I almost gave up until trying Lashview glue. Make sure you only use the items included in this set! - Once you know exactly what to do, everything will go very smoothly, but there's definitely a learning curve if you're new to this. You should be able to work *much* faster than me if you use the included glue (and be sure to check out Lashview's online tutorial video on Youtube before you start!). My second use of this kit will probably pass very quickly. my results? I LOVE HER! I can finally say that I have eyelashes! I got my other eye done much better since I already had the hang of it by that point. I'm thinking of going back and re-bowing the first eye I finished, but I probably won't bother as you'll hardly notice the difference. I really can't believe that such an amazing product can be so affordable. I will buy it again and again! Now for the cons: - It's pretty messy so be sure to protect your workspace - but honestly most of the mess was down to my failed attempts at using wrong glue lol. The included glue isn't messy or tacky at all - it's clear and a lot thinner and has some kind of flake/flake instead. I've heard that perm solution can bleach, so try not to wear black while doing it, just in case! - Lots of typos/spelling/grammatical errors in the manual which ruined the professional look. Product. Normally that would put me off thinking about a Chinese production, but the instructions were so clear and detailed, in addition to the overall picture, content and results being so amazing I didn't mind too much. ** Please edit, this will seriously amaze this product! **- I wish this kit came with legal silicone rods that pros use instead of silicone eye patches and even considered ordering them separately. The pads cover a much larger area, requiring more adhesive to be removed from the eyelids. The pads seem to work well and I'll probably stick with them, but you might find it easier with sticks.
