I have brown headlights where my cameras are and the white cameras are crazy conspicuous. They fit pretty well and you have to make sure the mic and speaker holes line up, but once in place the camera is a lot harder to see in my case. Others note that they make the camera warmer, and that can be an issue in the summer, but it's still chilly outside. They cover the white bezel on the front but NOT the status light ring so they're perfect. You may need to cut off some silicone once you have the camera installed where it forms a folded piece between the camera mount and the camera. but it's easy to do and doesn't compromise performance or looks. MAKE SURE you want to attach the covers when the camera is removed from its base and not after installation. However, it is easy to remove the camera from the mount and do so. Oh, and the color in the picture is very accurate. I would call it "milk chocolate" instead of "dark chocolate" if that makes sense. Not as dim as my headlights but did the job. One of my cameras is installed in a "bird house" which is artificially painted to match the wood it sits on, and I also artificially painted the silicone cover, the paint sticks slightly to the silicone after it dries, if you want to remove the paint you can bend the silicone just a little and it will fly instantly.
